Now, the few rules that exist. Age is not important to us, this is an all ages completely free chat. Free means not only that you will never be charged any money for it but also that you can behave as you would in real life. The only thing we ask is to be polite to other players within reason. If offense is taken at something you say just say sorry, if it is not intended to offend then everyone will overlook it. So check out the rest of the site if you haven't already, and enjoy. Sorry parents but your childrens activities are not our responsibility nor can I afford the expenses required to verify or check everyone that uses the site.

I would like to start having regular scenes on Mondays, starting about 5pm PST. I will be on much more than that, but would love to see all sanctioned characters during Mondays to start moving things a little more.

Being stuck on dial up wasn't bad enough, now the modem is on it's last bit (after 20 years) and I have to wait until Friday for my new net service to start. Barring all possible ways that it can go wrong I should be on then.

At this time I was hoping enough would be happening to keep the election crap on the chat at a low enough level, but I was wrong. For this reason only I will not be progressing the major story line, though players are welcome to submit characters, and they will be sanctioned. Also any small story lines you wish to be involved in go ahead and enjoy as much as possible.

Though I hate restricting what is said I will ask politely, NO POLITICS at this time, please. The topic creates too much tension OOC and can effect the game directly. I will not take sides in such situations at all, and will not even say anything myself. But if it gets out of hand I will take the chat down until the political elections are far enough behind us.

Two things to announce. The first is welcome to a story GM, Darius. I have given Darius the power to create and run stories in my place while I work more on the chat code, and he is on a lot so stop in and say hi. He will help with any questions you have and is fun to just talk to when you are bored.

The other announcement, I made a better set of sounds, I hope. If you like them better let me know, if not let me know to. Also, if you have some sounds you think may be better feel free to email them to me or tell me on the chat itself.

My normal online service is screwed up. Right now the one I am using I cannot access the chat. The worst part is I don't know how many days it will be down so please be patient and I will try to be back on ASAP. Redemption can sanction characters until I am back.

Yes, I am online a LOT more now that the applet and server are stable. So please, take a chance and stop in. Let's get some characters playing.

For those who have never played online or have never played Witchcraft, many of us are willing to help guide you along. Just let us know, don't be afraid or worry about not belonging, we are gamers and all are welcome. Just ask questions and let us know what you need help on. Character restrictions are also relaxed a lot at first, so if you have that one character no one else will let you play just ask.

The glitch seems to have been fixed. Let me know if it ever pops up again though. Also it has been rewritten to give better access to older Java versions and is fine in Java 1.5.

Mac users, the client isn't stable for some reason, I am looking into this. If you know how to open up your Java console, please do so when you run the chat. If it crashes and closes suddenly copy the console window and email it to me, please. This will not harm your computer, it will be annoying to you if it happens though. I want to fix this but I only have Linux and Windoze PC's and have only had one user on a Mac try to get on the chat. Thus why I know the error exists at all. Thanks for helping.

There is a glitch in the chat that I am aware of, it will go 'blank' for a moment until something is posted. This only happens a couple of times at first then goes away completely, so don't worry about it. I am working to find the source but since it isn't an actual error in the code tracking it down is proving difficult. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to make it look better, let me know.

Remember, all suggestions are taken to heart here.

Hello all!!!! You may know me as Redemption77 from the Eden Boards. I'll be on most nights if possible, except for Thursday Oct.9th from about 7pm CST to late night. Thursday night I have to attend my daughters basketball game and then I'll be on around 9 CST. I'll be here to help sanction characters and answer questions. I'm looking forward to talking with all of you from the boards I've only gotten to talk with through posts, and to meeting those of you not from the Eden Boards. Lets get some characters made and get this game moving, have some fun and tell some good stories.

Every weekend I will be on from 5pm PST to late night, unless something comes up, to get characters sanctioned and help with any questions. My normal time to show up is evenings and late nights but I do not stay on all the time. If you have any questions of problems email me (at the bottom of the page) and I will do my best to work it out.
